Compliance officers know that a culture of compliance starts with leadership buy-in. As more and more areas are subsumed under the umbrella of compliance, what a culture of integrity means has also had to expand to account for both external and internal risk factors. One such factor that has come to the forefront recently is psychological safety. Now more than ever it is critically important for leadership to drive a message down from the top that prioritizes the mental well-being of employees. Employees who are "burned out" are more susceptible to cutting corners and thus acting unethically.
Hear from Paul Smith, Sr. Leadership & Talent Development Advisor at AtkinsRealis as he shines a light on the intertwined connection between a culture of compliance and a culture of integrity. Gain practical tips on how to prepare effective messages from the top, without forgetting about the "mood" in the middle. Learn how to put strategies in place that will not only support employee retention and reduce burnout, but that will also support a workforce that feels comfortable speaking up and staying ethical. Come prepared with your most pressing questions for this interactive discussion!
