Due Diligence in the Age of AI: How the Latest Technologies Can Help or Harm Your Due Diligence Practices

Due Diligence in the Age of AI: How the Latest Technologies Can Help or Harm Your Due Diligence Practices

Tuesday, 14 April 2026 | 1:00 PM EDT (6:00 PM BST)

As AI and advanced analytics transform due diligence, organizations face new opportunities—and new risks. While emerging technologies can accelerate third-party screening and risk assessment, they can also create blind spots when applied without proper oversight.

With the widespread introduction of data analytics tools, artificial intelligence, and in-depth reporting dashboards, many manual processes within due diligence programs can now be completed with the click of a button. While some procedures have developed greater efficiency, there are areas of the due diligence process that do not benefit from a "quick fix" tech adjustment.

Join Dan Strick, Director of Global Trade Compliance at Extreme Networks as he shares the ways in which technology can both help and hurt due diligence processes. Drawing on real-world experience, Dan will explore how the latest technologies can both strengthen and undermine due diligence programs, and share key do’s and don’ts for using AI responsibly to support a smarter, more effective due diligence program.
