TRACE produces 20+ events every year. These events bring together TRACE member companies to exchange best practices and discuss the latest anti-bribery compliance and enforcement trends. Events are held worldwide and include annual flagship conferences, senior level roundtables, and workshops designed for local employees and third parties. TRACE members also receive preferential pricing on partner events.
Thank you for your interest in TRACE events. We have been closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19 and after careful consideration have decided to postpone all in-person events. In lieu of live events, we are hosting additional webinars and virtual events. Subscribe to TRACE emails to be the first to hear when new events and webinars are announced.
We thank everyone for their support and look forward to seeing you at the next TRACE event. If you have any further questions, please write to [email protected].

RUSI’s Centre for Financial Crime and Security Studies is delighted to welcome the return of Tom Burgis for a discussion of his latest book, ‘Kleptopia: How Dirty Money is Conquering the World’, hosted by Alexandra Wrage, founder and president of TRACE, and host of the Podcast ‘Bribe, Swindle or Steal.’
The book follows the dirty money that is flooding the global economy, emboldening dictators and poisoning democracies. From the Kremlin to Beijing, Harare to Riyadh, Paris to the Trump White House, it shows how the thieves are uniting – and the terrible human cost.
Tom Burgis is an investigations correspondent at the Financial Times. He has reported from more than forty countries, won major journalism awards in the US and Asia and been shortlisted for eight others, including twice at the British Press Awards. His critically acclaimed book ‘The Looting Machine’, about the modern plundering of Africa, won an Overseas Press Club of America award.
The event will start at 14:30 GMT and will run for one hour.
