Dissecting the Fallout from Schrems II: The Impact on Global Orgs. & Recommendations for Your Approach to Intl Data Transfers

Tuesday, 20 October 2020 | 2:00 PM ET (7:00 p.m. GMT+1)

In light of the recent ruling by the Court of Justice of the European Union, the flow of international data could be significantly reduced as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Shield has been deemed invalid and reliance on ‘SCCs’ has become more difficult. During this session, hear from Paul Lavery and Adam Finlay, both partners at McCann FitzGerald, as they address the recent Schrems II ruling and latest developments, discuss the potential impact on your organization, and share a road map for how your organization should consider updating its approach to international data transfers.

CLE credits are available for this webinar in the following states – TX, VA, NY, NJ, CA. Additional instructions on how to obtain CLE credits will be provided during the webinar.
