TRAC Analyst Positions (Annapolis, MD)

We are currently hiring for one of our due diligence services -- TRAC. TRAC is an online platform that captures, assesses and shares baseline due diligence information on organizations and individuals and assigns a unique, universally-recognized ID number to all approved applicants. TRACE is seeking analytical and process-oriented individuals to review and analyze TRAC applications.  TRAC Analysts will be interacting with representatives from companies of all sizes in various countries around the globe.  This is a great entry-level position for people interested in learning about international business, corporate compliance, or online web services.

Ideal candidates:

  • Are detail-oriented and highly organized;
  • Are self-motivated and will contribute ideas for improving processes;
  • Are focused on providing outstanding customer service;
  • Possess strong time-management, computer, and issue-spotting skills; and
  • Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Language skills, particularly in Chinese, Italian, French, and Korean, are a big plus!

FCPA Consultant (Annapolis, MD)

We are currently seeking a full-time FCPA Consultant to complement our dynamic FCPA consulting practice.  Ideal candidate will be an attorney or CPA with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) experience with a respected law firm or accounting firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting enhanced anti-bribery due diligence reviews
  • Performing internal audits of anti-bribery compliance programs
  • Identifying opportunities for business development

Qualifications:

  • At least two full years of law firm experience or accounting firm experience
  • Strong academic credentials and writing skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism while working independently and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills, including formal presentation skills
  • High level of ethics, values and integrity
  • Foreign language skills an advantage, but not required 

Due Diligence Associate (Annapolis, MD)

TRACE is looking for numerous analytical and process-oriented individuals for our due diligence business.  A key component of anti-bribery compliance is a due diligence review of businesses and individuals operating in overseas markets.

Ideal candidates:

  • Must have a college degree or relevant research and/or large-firm paralegal experience
  • Are detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Possess strong time-management, analytical and issue-spotting skills
  • Can multi-task and prioritize among many different assignments

Preferred candidates are multi-lingual, have an understanding of corporate ownership structures and are familiar with Westlaw.  TRACE is particularly interested in candidates proficient in Spanish, Mandarin, Korean, Portuguese, Arabic, or Japanese.


Member/Client Experience Representative (Annapolis, MD)
 
TRACE is looking for enthusiastic, results-oriented individuals to be the primary points of contact for our clients and members. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Educate and maintain our current clients and members by assisting with inquiries and problem resolution 
  • Effectively retain members and clients through positive relationship building 
  • Maintain member and client contact regularly throughout the year via phone & e-mail
  • Interact with other departments including Advisory Services, Sales and Marketing to meet and exceed member/client expectations  
  • Work with members to ensure they are maximizing membership benefits and services 
  • Draft membership communications and membership feedback reports 
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns as needed 
  • Update member records and compile/complete reports 
  • Review Onboarding Questionnaires and summarize gaps/respond to requests 
  • Align services with member/client needs to strengthen value proposition 
  • Performs other related duties as required or assigned

  • Have 2+ years’ customer service experience

IT Manager

TRACE is currently seeking an IT Manager to join our growing team in providing leadership and project management support for all levels of IT activity, including hands-on technical support, strategic planning, system development and coordination.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • B.S. in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline or equivalent business experience
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible technical experience managing and supporting local and remote infrastructures and IT staffs as well as vendors
  • Experience with managing projects in multiple technologies, functions and industries
  • Experience with SDLC implementations, methodologies, and management

Requisite abilities and/or skills:

  • Excellent people skills and experience in team development
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast moving business environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive information
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Design and implementation of network and data security measures
  • Windows & Windows Servers administration

Responsibilities:

  • Manages a small team of  IT professionals
  • Consults with directors to determine hardware and software needs to support business requirements
  • Designs and implements plan to fulfill hardware and software needs within a budget
  • Develops and manages an IT budget in close coordination with senior management
  • Monitors and evaluates all IT issues, including budgetary concerns, and recommends corrective action
  • Makes recommendations for all technology resources and outsourcing providers
  • Manages relationships with outside vendors, including reviewing and evaluating all technical designs, reports, documentation and other material produced by vendors
  • Ensures that service providers are responding timely and effectively to requests for assistance
  • Develops, implements and enforces all technology policies and procedures, including security privacy policies and disaster recovery plans
  • Collaborates with other managers to identify needs for IT training

Accountant
 
TRACE is looking for a highly professional, organized individual with excellent attention to detail and communication skills to perform full-cycle accounting services.
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Maintaining general ledger for multiple products
  • Monthly and yearly allocations and accruals
  • Account reconciliations including monthly bank reconciliations
  • Month-end closing
  • Monthly and yearly financial statement preparation
  • Payroll and quarterly payroll tax returns
  • Estimated tax payments and yearly tax preparation
  • Maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
  • Managing Accounts Receivables and Payables
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision, and have strong time-management skills
  • Extensive experience with Quickbooks, MS Word, and Excel
  • Associates Degree or Accounting Certificate 
  • 3-5 years’ accounting/bookkeeping experience
 

Administrative Coordinator
 
We have an immediate opening for an Administrative Coordinator to provide general office support. Ideal candidates will be highly-organized individuals who are team-players but able to work independently with a high-level of professionalism.
